Animal Reiki is a meditative, non-invasive practice developed specifically to reduce stress and promote healing for our animal friends. This practice feels right to them. In this class, we learn a the core Reiki precepts and Animal Reiki ethics, how Reiki is used with animals and how it benefits them, and how to create a gentle Reiki space for connecting with dear ones.
Introduction to Animal Reiki is for those of you who would like to know more about the practice and find out if pursuing further training in Reiki would be of interest to you. You might find your animals suggest it!

If you are looking to explore the nature of sharing the healing energy of Reiki with other species, this course will give you powerful meditations that will grow your ability to deeply connect with the animals in your world.
The 5 Powerful Meditations gently guide us into the Reiki space. We become balanced, peaceful, offering kindness and compassion to our own animals and to those in need of comfort and support. We can turn even the most stressful and challenging moments into a time of balance and healing. We share the energy of oneness with our cherished animal friends, and we develop a foundation and practice that will transform our relationships with animals forever.
Participants will receive the 5 Powerful Meditations book, a 69-page guide to heart-centered animal Reiki meditations.

Reiki Level I and Animal Reiki Training: The Basics
Begin your journey as a Reiki healer. Expand your meditation skills and your personal experience with your own companion animals. Begin sharing beautiful Reiki energy with your family, your friends and their animals. Augment your volunteering skills and bring animal healing techniques to shelters nearby.
This class is a Reiki Level I, or Shoden, certification and Animal Reiki basics training. Shoden means "beginner teachings". You will learn about the basics of the system of Reiki and why it is so ideal for animals. You will explore Reiki meditations, the meaning and power of the Reiki precepts, practice hands-on treatments with your classmates, and begin the practice of self-healing and the healing of others. You will learn how Animal Reiki is different from human Reiki and yet deeply grounded in the same principles of contemplation, breathing techniques, and the creation of the Reiki space. You will find the joy in experiencing the gentleness, peace and ease of sharing Reiki with heart-centered love.
Classes are offered to a minimum of four students, and may be taken as a one-day course or spread over two consecutive days. Participants will receive a 148-page course book and a Reiki I completion certificate.

Reiki Level II, or Okuden, takes the practice of animal Reiki into a deeper realm of spiritual connection. In this class, you will build upon the skills learned in Reiki Level I and develop the focus, grounding and practices that will be with you forever. You will learn the first three symbols of Reiki, what they mean and how to use them in your work. You'll learn about the all-important Animal Reiki Code of Ethics, the "Do's" and "Don'ts" of animal treatments, what Reiki can and cannot do, and how to structure your animal sessions. You will learn about "distance healing" for helping animals not in your presence, and how the spiritual energy of Reiki goes beyond the limitations of time and space. As you develop your daily practice of self-healing and connection with the animals, you will gain a level of experience that will allow you to pursue Reiki professionally and charge for your services, if you should choose. Of course you are always encouraged to bring your gifts to those most in need at local shelters and rescues.
Classes are offered to a minimum of four students, and may be taken as a one-day course or spread over two consecutive days. Participants will receive a 153-page course book and a Reiki II completion certificate.
